Jenniffer González

Jenniffer A. González Colón (born August 5, 1976) is a Puerto Rican politician and current Minority Leader of the Puerto Rico House of Representatives. From 2009 to 2013, she also served as the Speaker of the House of Representatives, becoming the youngest person to hold the seat at 32 years old. González is affiliated with the pro-statehood New Party for Progress (NPP) and the United States Republican Party. She also serves as Vice-Chairwoman of the Republican Party of Puerto Rico and Vice-Chairwoman of the NPP and is a candidate for the NPP nomination for Resident Commissioner, Puerto Rico's sole non-voting seat in Congress.

Jenniffer González was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico as Jenniffer Aydin González Colón to Jorge González and Nydia Colón, both school teachers. González graduated from University Gardens High School. She then studied Political Science at the University of Puerto Rico and studied Law at the Inter American University of Puerto Rico.
